About

Grace Atkins is a painter and sculptor, focusing on the figure within everyday life. Through a rich colour palette and expressive mark-making, Grace brings life and energy into a variety of mediums. Her current practice aims to celebrate what it means to be human, distorting reality to create a separate yet familiar world where her figures can exist. Finding beauty within chaos, her work explores clothing, body language, and movement to portray a variety of characters, through a playful use of material.

Grace is studying her final year of Fine Art at the Winchester School of Art. Over the last five years she has exhibited in a number of group shows and exhibitions, including the Young Artists Summer Show at the RA, and the Alfred Arcade in Southampton.
